How much is this going to cost?
Our prices are customized based on the scope of work, location, and many other factors. Every home and job is different therefore quotes are individually assessed and created. We offer free quotes, so feel free to reach out and one of our arborists can give you a custom price based on your needs!
How can I prepare for the team to come to my property?
There is very little you will need to do! As long as the crew has access to the working area they will handle the rest. Our estimator will have detailed the required work for the crew, they have the experience and know-how to prep the site, and move forward with the work. However if you’re available, and you would like to meet the crew to go over further specifics, they are happy to have a chat on site!
Are you fully insured and covered?
Yes, Monkey Tree Services is fully insured and covered. We pride ourselves in operating to the highest of professional caliber and making sure all legal requirements are up to date.
Is there any guarantee of satisfaction?
At Monkey Tree Services we hold our quality of work to the highest standard. If at all during the process you are not satisfied, please let us know. We will do whatever we can to rectify the situation to ensure every client has a positive, professional and friendly experience.
How much say does the homeowner get in pruning?
You as the client determine the scope of our work, what trees you want worked on and to a certain degree how much pruning is to be done. A Our team is trained not only in proper pruning techniques, but in tree conservation as well, and will ensure tree health and longevity is a priority. We want to make sure your goals are achieved, while protecting the tree for long term sustainability.
What do you do with the wood after removing a tree?
Depending on the quality and viability of the wood, we distribute for local artisanal use, or firewood. We regularly donate our wood to local woodworking studios, woodcarving hobbyists and everyone in between. Reach out to us via email or phone if you are interested in collecting wood for any fun projects, and make sure you send us a picture after you’re done!
What do you do with all the wood chips?
Most of our woodchips are donated to local residents, for home gardens, community gardens and any other use people might have for them! The remainder go to a local company that turns our beautiful woodchips into soil through a heat-pressurization process. These avenues of sustainability are one of the great factors of our industry, ensuring no resource goes to waste.
